بَدِيعُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ وَإِذَا قَضَىٰٓ أَمْرًۭا فَإِنَّمَا يَقُولُ لَهُۥ كُن فَيَكُونُ
Badīʻu ssamāwāti wal-'ar'ḍi . wa'idhā qaḍā 'am'ran fa'innamā yaqūlu lahu kun fayakūnu
To Him is due the primal origin of the heavens and the earth: When He decreeth a matter, He saith to it: "Be," and it is.

He brought the skies and the earth into being from nothing, and when He decides something, He only says to it 'Be', and it is.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Who made the universe from nothing?"
NgajiBareng04 has the whole of Al-Baqarah by a reciter. Play just the first stretch.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What does Allah say to create?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What does 'Originator' mean?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Baqarah is surah 2. Find ayah 117. Al-Badi' means the One who creates without any example before. Allah made the universe from nothing with 'Kun'.
Fact: Al-Badi' means the Originator, who creates with no example before.
Ages 5–8: Kun. Say Kun fa yakun and its meaning.
Ages 9–12: Originator. Write what makes Allah the Originator.
Finish with: "Allah is Al-___, the Originator."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will look at the stars and remember Al-Badi'."
Action: Look at the stars and remember Al-Badi'.
