أَوَلَا يَذْكُرُ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ أَنَّا خَلَقْنَٰهُ مِن قَبْلُ وَلَمْ يَكُ شَيْـًۭٔا
'Awalā yadh'kuru l-'insānu 'annā khalaq'nāhu min qab'lu walam' yaku shay''an
But does not man call to mind that We created him before out of nothing?

Doesn't a person remember that Allah created him before, when he was nothing at all?
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Which is harder: making something new, or making it again?"
AL IKHWAANI has the whole of Maryam by Khalid Al-Jaleel. Play just the first stretch.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What were we before Allah created us?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "If Allah made me from nothing, can He make me again?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Maryam is surah 19. Find ayah 67. A sign to ponder: making something the first time is harder than remaking it. Allah made us from nothing, so bringing us back is easy for Him.
Fact: Find the ayah that says re-creating is easier for Him (Ar-Rum 30:27).
Ages 5–8: Build twice. Build a block tower, knock it down, and build it again faster.
Ages 9–12: Easy for Allah. Write why remaking is easier than making.
Finish with: "I found it in Surah ___, ayah ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will thank Allah for creating me."
Action: Thank Allah for creating you.
