وَٱذْكُرْ فِى ٱلْكِتَٰبِ مُوسَىٰٓ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ مُخْلَصًۭا وَكَانَ رَسُولًۭا نَّبِيًّۭا
Wa -dh'kur' fī l-kitābi mūssā . 'innahu kāna mukh'laṣan wakāna rassūlan nnabiyyan
Also mention in the Book (the story of) Moses: for he was specially chosen, and he was a messenger (and) a prophet.

Allah tells us to remember Musa, who was chosen and was both a messenger and a prophet.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What makes someone 'chosen'?"
MrSak1986 has the whole of Maryam by Nasser Al-Qatami. Play just the first stretch.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What three things was Musa?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why does Allah choose some people for special tasks?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Maryam is surah 19. Find ayah 51. Mukhlas means chosen and purified for Allah. Musa was both a rasul (messenger) and a nabi (prophet). His story fills many pages of the Quran.
Fact: Which surah tells Musa's story in great detail (Ta-Ha, surah 20)?
Ages 5–8: Prophet cards. Make a card for Musa with one fact.
Ages 9–12: Rasul and nabi. Write the difference with help from your teacher.
Finish with: "I learned the difference is ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will do one deed purely for Allah."
Action: Do one deed purely for Allah.
