4-I guide
Isa said Allah made him kind to his mother, and not proud or unkind.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What is one kind thing you can do for your mother?"
Settle down and play the start of Nasser Al-Qatami's Maryam (le3bdon).
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who was Isa kind to?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why does the Quran mention kindness to mothers so often?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Maryam is surah 19. Find ayah 32. Like Yahya, Isa was kind to his parent. Isa had a mother but no father, and he honoured Maryam. Kindness to mothers is close to Allah's heart.
Fact: Compare 19:14 and 19:32. What is the same about Yahya and Isa?
Ages 5–8: Mother's day. Make a thank-you card for your mother or carer.
Ages 9–12: Mothers. Write what your mother does for you.
Finish with: "I found both were ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will help my mother without being asked."
Action: Help your mother without being asked.
