Opening the ayah…
فَخَرَجَ عَلَىٰ قَوْمِهِۦ مِنَ ٱلْمِحْرَابِ فَأَوْحَىٰٓ إِلَيْهِمْ أَن سَبِّحُوا۟ بُكْرَةًۭ وَعَشِيًّۭا
Fakharaja ʻalā qaw'mihī mina l-miḥ'rābi fa'aw'ḥā 'ilay'him' 'an sabbiḥū buk'ratan waʻashiyyan
So Zakariya came out to his people from him chamber: He told them by signs to celebrate Allah's praises in the morning and in the evening.

Zakariya came out of his prayer room and signalled to his people to glorify Allah morning and evening.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How can you tell someone something without words?"
Mishary Alafasy recites Maryam on his own channel. Play the first few minutes.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "When were people told to glorify Allah?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why morning and evening?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Maryam is surah 19. Find ayah 11. Even without speaking, Zakariya reminded people of Allah using signs. Morning and evening are special times for dhikr.
Fact: Find another ayah about glorifying Allah morning and evening (Al-Ahzab 33:42).
Ages 5–8: Sign game. Use only hand signs to tell your family 'time for dhikr'.
Ages 9–12: Two times. Write a morning and evening dhikr plan.
Finish with: "I found it in Surah ___, ayah ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will say subhanallah every morning and evening."
Action: Say subhanallah every morning and evening.
