So he set out on a path.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What is the first step of any journey?"
Play the short clip from yazidislamicvideos of Muhammad Al-Muhaisany reciting ayat 83–98 of Al-Kahf.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did Dhul-Qarnayn do?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why use the means Allah gives?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Kahf is surah 18. Find ayah 85. Allah gave him the means, and he used them. Trusting Allah and taking action go together.
Fact: Find the ayah about taking precautions (An-Nisa 4:71).
Ages 5–8: First step. Take the first step on a task you've been delaying.
Ages 9–12: Action. Write why trust and effort go together.
Finish with: "I found it in Surah ___, ayah ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will start a task I've been delaying."
Action: Start a task you've been delaying.
