قَالَ إِن سَأَلْتُكَ عَن شَىْءٍۭ بَعْدَهَا فَلَا تُصَٰحِبْنِى ۖ قَدْ بَلَغْتَ مِن لَّدُنِّى عُذْرًۭا
Qāla 'in sa'altuka ʻan shay''in baʻ'dahā falā tuṣāḥib'nī . qad' balagh'ta min lladunnī ʻudh'ran
(Moses) said: "If ever I ask thee about anything after this, keep me not in thy company: then wouldst thou have received (full) excuse from my side."

Musa said that if he asked about anything again, the teacher could part ways with him, for he would have a fair excuse.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Is it fair to set a limit on yourself?"
Put on Mahmoud Khalil Al-Husary's Al-Kahf from قناة قرآن تعليم و استماع and follow along for a little while.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did Musa promise?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why did Musa set himself a limit?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Kahf is surah 18. Find ayah 76. Musa was fair. He admitted he'd broken the rule twice and set himself a limit. Being fair to others includes being honest about ourselves.
Fact: Read 18:77–78: did Musa keep his promise?
Ages 5–8: Fair play. Make a fair rule for a game together.
Ages 9–12: Fairness. Write how to be fair even when it's hard.
Finish with: "I found that ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will set a fair limit for my screen time."
Action: Set a fair limit for your screen time.
