The teacher asked how Musa could be patient about things he didn't fully understand.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Is it hard to wait for the whole picture?"
Sounds of Paradise posted a short recitation of ayat 60–82 of Al-Kahf. Listen to all of it together.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What makes patience hard here?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How do I stay patient when things don't make sense?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Kahf is surah 18. Find ayah 68. When we only see part of a story, we may judge too fast. Trusting that Allah knows the full picture helps us be patient.
Fact: Find the ayah that says you may dislike something that is good for you (Al-Baqarah 2:216).
Ages 5–8: Puzzle. Try guessing a picture from just one puzzle piece.
Ages 9–12: Full picture. Write why we shouldn't judge from part of a story.
Finish with: "I found it in Surah ___, ayah ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will trust Allah when something doesn't make sense."
Action: Trust Allah when something doesn't make sense.
