قَالَ لَهُۥ مُوسَىٰ هَلْ أَتَّبِعُكَ عَلَىٰٓ أَن تُعَلِّمَنِ مِمَّا عُلِّمْتَ رُشْدًۭا
Qāla lahu mūssā hal' 'attabiʻuka ʻalā 'an tuʻallimani mimmā ʻullim'ta rush'dan
Moses said to him: "May I follow thee, on the footing that thou teach me something of the (Higher) Truth which thou hast been taught?"

4-I guide
Musa politely asked if he could follow him so he could be taught some of the right guidance he had been given.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How do you ask a teacher for help?"
Bandar Baleela, an imam of the Haram in Makkah, recites Al-Kahf on his channel. Listen to a short stretch, like a student listening to a teacher.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "How did Musa ask?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why was Musa so polite?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Kahf is surah 18. Find ayah 66. Musa was a great prophet, yet he asked humbly and politely to learn. Good students are humble and respectful.
Fact: Find how Musa asks to follow and learn in this same story (18:66), then compare it with how Allah taught Adam names (Al-Baqarah 2:31).
Ages 5–8: Polite asking. Practise asking a teacher a question politely.
Ages 9–12: Humble learner. Write what makes a good student.
Finish with: "I found it in Surah ___, ayah ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will ask my teacher a question politely."
Action: Ask your teacher a question politely.
