The Quran also warns those who say that Allah has taken a son.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What do you know about Allah from Surah Al-Ikhlas?"
Put on Ahmed Al-Ajmi's Al-Kahf from Ayat ALQURAN - آيات القرآن and follow along for a little while.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What claim is the warning about?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why is this claim so serious?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Kahf is surah 18. Find ayah 4. Allah is One. He has no children and no partners. The Quran gently but clearly corrects anyone who says otherwise.
Fact: Find the ayah that says He neither begets nor is born (Al-Ikhlas 112:3).
Ages 5–8: Al-Ikhlas. Recite Surah Al-Ikhlas together.
Ages 9–12: Tawhid. Write three things Al-Ikhlas teaches about Allah.
Finish with: "I found it in Surah ___, ayah ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will learn the meaning of Al-Ikhlas."
Action: Learn the meaning of Al-Ikhlas.
