إِذْ أَوَى ٱلْفِتْيَةُ إِلَى ٱلْكَهْفِ فَقَالُوا۟ رَبَّنَآ ءَاتِنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ رَحْمَةًۭ وَهَيِّئْ لَنَا مِنْ أَمْرِنَا رَشَدًۭا
'Idh' 'awāl-fit'yatu 'ilāl-kah'fi faqālū rabbanā 'ātinā min lladunka raḥ'matan wahayyi'' lanā min' 'am'rinā rashadan
Behold, the youths betook themselves to the Cave: they said, "Our Lord! bestow on us Mercy from Thyself, and dispose of our affair for us in the right way!"

4-I guide
The young men sheltered in the Cave and prayed: 'Our Lord, give us mercy from You and set our affair right.'
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What du'a would you make if you had to hide to stay safe?"
Al-Minshawi's calm Al-Kahf is on Quran_audible. Play the opening minutes and listen for the youths' du'a.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What two things did the youths ask for?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why did they ask for mercy and guidance?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Kahf is surah 18. Find ayah 10. The young believers left everything to protect their faith. Their du'a asked for Allah's mercy and the right way. We can say it whenever we feel lost.
Fact: Learn this du'a from 18:10 with your teacher.
Ages 5–8: Du'a card. Write the meaning of the youths' du'a on a card.
Ages 9–12: Brave youth. Write how young people can be brave for their faith.
Finish with: "I learned it means ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will say the youths' du'a when I feel unsure."
Action: Say the youths' du'a when you feel unsure.
