قُل لَّوْ كَانَ مَعَهُۥٓ ءَالِهَةٌۭ كَمَا يَقُولُونَ إِذًۭا لَّٱبْتَغَوْا۟ إِلَىٰ ذِى ٱلْعَرْشِ سَبِيلًۭا
Qul llaw' kāna maʻahu 'ālihatun kamā yaqūlūna 'idhan lla-b'taghaw' 'ilā dhī l-ʻar'shi sabīlan
Say: If there had been (other) gods with Him, as they say,- behold, they would certainly have sought out a way to the Lord of the Throne!

If there were other gods alongside Allah, as they claim, they would have tried to find a way to challenge the Owner of the Throne.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What would happen if a class had two head teachers who disagreed?"
Put on Abdul Rahman Al-Ossi's Al-Isra from Hossain Islam and follow along for a little while.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What would other gods try to do?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How does the order in the universe show there is one God?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Isra is surah 17. Find ayah 42. If there were many gods, they would compete and fight. The universe is in order, which shows one Lord rules it all.
Fact: Find a similar argument in Al-Anbiya (21:22).
Ages 5–8: Two captains. Play a game with two captains giving opposite orders.
Ages 9–12: One Lord. Write how order in nature points to one God.
Finish with: "I found it in Surah ___, ayah ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will notice order in nature and say subhanallah."
Action: Notice order in nature and say subhanallah.
