وَأَوْفُوا۟ ٱلْكَيْلَ إِذَا كِلْتُمْ وَزِنُوا۟ بِٱلْقِسْطَاسِ ٱلْمُسْتَقِيمِ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ خَيْرٌۭ وَأَحْسَنُ تَأْوِيلًۭا
Wa 'aw'fū l-kay'la 'idhā kiltum' wazinū bil-qis'ṭāssi l-mus'taqīmi . dhālika khay'run wa'aḥ'sanu ta''wīlan
Give full measure when ye measure, and weigh with a balance that is straight: that is the most fitting and the most advantageous in the final determination.

Give full measure when you measure, and weigh with a true balance; that is good and has the finest outcome.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How would you feel if a shop gave you less than you paid for?"
Marala TV has a murottal of ayat 23–39. Play the part about fair measuring.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What kind of balance should we use?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why is honest measuring so important?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Isra is surah 17. Find ayah 35. Being fair in buying and selling is part of faith. Honest people give full measure. Honesty builds trust and blessing.
Fact: Find the surah that warns those who give short measure (Al-Mutaffifin 83:1).
Ages 5–8: Fair share. Share snacks equally using a kitchen scale.
Ages 9–12: Honesty. Write why honesty in business matters.
Finish with: "I found it is Surah ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will share things fairly."
Action: Share things fairly.
