Start with bismillah.

Ask: "Why do rich people have a big responsibility?"

Play a few minutes of Al-Ossi reciting ayat 9–25, then talk about what happens to proud towns.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who is commanded first?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why do comfortable people sometimes forget Allah?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Isra is surah 17. Find ayah 16. People with lots of comfort can forget to be grateful. When they keep disobeying after being told, the result comes. Blessings come with responsibility.

Fact: Find the ayah about Qarun, a rich man who forgot Allah (Al-Qasas 28:76).

Ages 5–8: Gratitude. List your comforts and thank Allah for each.

Ages 9–12: Responsibility. Write why blessings come with responsibility.

Finish with: "I found it in Surah ___, ayah ___."

Talk together:
