Ask: "If you had three rules for a happy world, what would they be?"

Muslim Ummah posted a short recitation of ayah 90 of An-Nahl. Listen to all of it together.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What three things does Allah command?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How would the world change if everyone followed this ayah?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah An-Nahl is surah 16. Find ayah 90. This famous ayah is often recited in Friday sermons. It sums up Islam's manners: be fair, do your best, help family; avoid shameful things, wrongdoing and bullying.

Fact: Listen for this ayah at the end of a Friday khutbah.

Ages 5–8: Three rules. Make a family poster with the three commands.

Ages 9–12: Do and don't. Write the three commands and three forbidden things.

Finish with: "The three commands are ___."

Talk together:

• What does Allah command?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• What does He forbid?
• Which command will you practise?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will practise justice, goodness and family care."
