وَتَحْمِلُ أَثْقَالَكُمْ إِلَىٰ بَلَدٍۢ لَّمْ تَكُونُوا۟ بَٰلِغِيهِ إِلَّا بِشِقِّ ٱلْأَنفُسِ ۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكُمْ لَرَءُوفٌۭ رَّحِيمٌۭ
Wa taḥ'milu 'ath'qālakum' 'ilā baladin llam' takūnū bālighīhi 'illā bishiqqi l-'anfussi . 'inna rabbakum' lara'ūfun rraḥīmun
And they carry your heavy loads to lands that ye could not (otherwise) reach except with souls distressed: for your Lord is indeed Most Kind, Most Merciful,

Animals carry your heavy loads to lands you could only reach with great difficulty, for your Lord is truly Kind and Merciful.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How would you carry a heavy load across a desert?"
Put on Muhammad Mahmud's An-Nahl from Arfa Production and follow along for a little while.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Which two names of Allah end the ayah?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How do animals show Allah's kindness to us?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah An-Nahl is surah 16. Find ayah 7. Before cars and trains, animals carried heavy loads across long distances. This was Allah's kindness and mercy. Ar-Ra'uf and Ar-Rahim care for us.
Fact: Camels can walk for days in the desert carrying heavy loads. Find out why camels can go so long without water.
Ages 5–8: Helpers. Draw an animal carrying a load.
Ages 9–12: Kindness. Write how to be kind to working animals.
Finish with: "Camels can go long without water because ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will be gentle with an animal."
Action: Be gentle with an animal.
