Start with bismillah.

Ask: "Would it be hard to leave your home?"

A short clip on Muslim Ummah recites ayah 41 of An-Nahl. Play the whole clip.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What will those who left home receive?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How does Allah repay sacrifice?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah An-Nahl is surah 16. Find ayah 41. Early Muslims left their homes in Makkah because they were mistreated. Allah promised them a good home in this world and an even greater reward later.

Fact: Find where Muslims moved to: Madinah. Find it on a map.

Ages 5–8: New home. Talk about how it feels to move to a new place.

Ages 9–12: Sacrifice. Write how Allah repays people who give things up for Him.

Finish with: "Madinah is ___ km from Makkah."

Talk together:

• Who left home?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• How does Allah repay them?
• What can you give up for Allah?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will give up something small for Allah."
