فَأَصَابَهُمْ سَيِّـَٔاتُ مَا عَمِلُوا۟ وَحَاقَ بِهِم مَّا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ
Fa'aṣābahum' sayyi'ātu mā ʻamilū waḥāqa bihim mmā kānū bihī yas'tah'zi'ūna
But the evil results of their deeds overtook them, and that very (Wrath) at which they had scoffed hemmed them in.

The bad results of their deeds struck them, and the very thing they used to mock surrounded them.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What happens when you laugh at a warning?"
Hear the opening minutes of An-Nahl in Omar Hisham Al Arabi's voice, from Qur'on va Hadisga.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What surrounded them?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why is mocking warnings unwise?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah An-Nahl is surah 16. Find ayah 34. They laughed at the warnings, and then those warnings came true. One calm line. It's wise to take good warnings seriously.
Fact: With a grown-up, look for a similar ayah in Al-An'am 6:10.
Ages 5–8: Take warnings seriously. Talk about safety warnings at home.
Ages 9–12: Mocking. Write why mocking the truth backfires.
Finish with: "Al-An'am 6:10 says ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will listen to safety warnings carefully."
Action: Listen to safety warnings carefully.
