شَاكِرًۭا لِّأَنْعُمِهِ ۚ ٱجْتَبَىٰهُ وَهَدَىٰهُ إِلَىٰ صِرَٰطٍۢ مُّسْتَقِيمٍۢ
Shākiran lli'an'ʻumihi . (i)j'tabāhu wahadāhu 'ilā ṣirāṭin mmus'taqīmin
He showed his gratitude for the favours of Allah, who chose him, and guided him to a Straight Way.

Ibrahim was thankful for Allah's blessings; Allah picked him out and led him onto a straight path.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Why is thankfulness a sign of a good person?"
Listen together as Mishary Alafasy recites ayat 120–128 of An-Nahl, a short clip shared by Imani.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did Allah do for Ibrahim?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can I be thankful like Ibrahim?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah An-Nahl is surah 16. Find ayah 121. Ibrahim was always thankful. Allah chose him and guided him. Thankfulness brings Allah's guidance.
Fact: Look up Ibrahim's thankful du'a in Ibrahim 14:39.
Ages 5–8: Thank-you list. Write five things to thank Allah for.
Ages 9–12: Thankful hearts. Write how thankfulness brings guidance.
Finish with: "Ibrahim 14:39 says ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will thank Allah for five things daily."
Action: Thank Allah for five things daily.
