قَالَ أَبَشَّرْتُمُونِى عَلَىٰٓ أَن مَّسَّنِىَ ٱلْكِبَرُ فَبِمَ تُبَشِّرُونَ
Qāla 'abashshar'tumūnī ʻalā 'an mmassaniya l-kibaru fabima tubashshirūna
He said: "Do ye give me glad tidings that old age has seized me? Of what, then, is your good news?"

Ibrahim asked in wonder whether they were giving him good news even though he was very old.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Is anything too late for Allah?"
Put on Mishary Alafasy's Al-Hijr from Syed Akheel Aijaz - Quran With Urdu Translation and follow along for a little while.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Why was Ibrahim surprised?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Can Allah give gifts at any age?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Hijr is surah 15. Find ayah 54. Ibrahim was very old. Having a child seemed impossible, but nothing is impossible for Allah.
Fact: Find a similar story about Zakariya (Maryam 19:8).
Ages 5–8: Never too late. Talk to a grandparent about something they learned late.
Ages 9–12: Allah's power. Write why nothing is too late for Allah.
Finish with: "I found it in Surah ___, ayah ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will make du'a for something that seems hard."
Action: Make du'a for something that seems hard.
