وَقَالَ مُوسَىٰٓ إِن تَكْفُرُوٓا۟ أَنتُمْ وَمَن فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ جَمِيعًۭا فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَغَنِىٌّ حَمِيدٌ
Wa qāla mūssā 'in tak'furū 'antum' waman fī l-'ar'ḍi jamīʻan fa'inna -llaha laghaniyyun ḥamīdun
And Moses said: "If ye show ingratitude, ye and all on earth together, yet is Allah free of all wants, worthy of all praise.

Musa told his people that even if they and everyone on earth were ungrateful, Allah does not need anyone and deserves all praise.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "If nobody says thank you to the sun, does it stop shining?"
Put on a reciter's Ibrahim from NgajiBareng04 and follow along for a little while.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did Musa say about Allah?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "If Allah needs nothing, who benefits when I am thankful?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ibrahim is surah 14. Find ayah 8. Allah is Al-Ghani, free of all need. Our thanks do not add to Him, and ingratitude does not take away from Him. When we thank Him, we are the ones who gain.
Fact: Find the name Al-Ghani (Free of need) in another ayah, such as Fatir 35:15.
Ages 5–8: Who gains? Talk about who feels happier when you say thank you.
Ages 9–12: Free of need. Write why our worship helps us, not Allah.
Finish with: "Fatir 35:15 tells me ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will remember that my prayer helps me."
Action: Remember that your prayer helps you.
