Start with bismillah.

Ask: "What is a day you will always remember?"

Quran Recitation posted a short recitation of ayat 1–10 of Ibrahim. Listen to all of it together.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did Allah tell Musa to remind his people of?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What are 'the days of Allah' in my own life?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ibrahim is surah 14. Find ayah 5. Musa was told to remind his people of the days when Allah helped them. Remembering Allah's help makes us patient in hard times and thankful in good times.

Fact: The ayah ends with two qualities. Find them and say which ones they are.

Ages 5–8: My special day. Draw a day when Allah helped your family.

Ages 9–12: Patient and thankful. Write one time you were patient and one time you were thankful.

Finish with: "The two qualities are ___ and ___."

Talk together:

• What happened on a day Allah helped you?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• Why does remembering help us be patient?
• What are you thankful for today?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will tell my family about one day Allah helped us."

• Show your drawing.
• Be patient and thankful.
• Next time: the next ayah (14:6) tells how Allah rescued Musa's people. Explore it together!
