Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Why did Ibrahim settle his family by the Sacred House?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How does Allah provide in a place with no crops?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ibrahim is surah 14. Find ayah 37. Ibrahim left part of his family in a dry valley near the Kaaba so they would establish prayer. He asked Allah to make people love to visit them and to give them fruit. Today Makkah receives visitors and food from all over the world.

Fact: Find Makkah on a map or globe. What kind of land is around it?

Ages 5–8: Map hunt. Find Makkah on a map and point to where you live.

Ages 9–12: Trust and provision. Write how Ibrahim's du'a was answered, using what you see of Makkah today.

Finish with: "Around Makkah, the land is ___."
