Start with bismillah.

Ask: "How does an apple end up in your lunchbox?"

A short clip on Muslim Ummah recites ayah 32 of Ibrahim. Play the whole clip.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What does Allah bring out with the rain?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What would happen if rain stopped for a whole year?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ibrahim is surah 14. Find ayah 32. Rain falls, fruit grows, ships float and rivers flow. All of it works by Allah's command for our benefit. Every bite of fruit begins with rain from Allah.

Fact: A ship floats because it pushes aside water that weighs as much as the ship. Find out who first explained this idea.

Ages 5–8: Floating test. With a grown-up, see which things float in a bowl of water: a cork, a coin, a foil boat.

Ages 9–12: Water cycle. Draw and label the water cycle: evaporation, clouds, rain and rivers.

Finish with: "The person who explained floating was ___."

Talk together:

• What gifts are named in this ayah?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• How does rain reach your plate?
• Which gift will you thank Allah for?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will say alhamdulillah when I eat fruit."
