وَجَعَلُوا۟ لِلَّهِ أَندَادًۭا لِّيُضِلُّوا۟ عَن سَبِيلِهِۦ ۗ قُلْ تَمَتَّعُوا۟ فَإِنَّ مَصِيرَكُمْ إِلَى ٱلنَّارِ
Wa jaʻalū lillahi 'andādan lliyuḍillū ʻan sabīlihī . qul' tamattaʻū fa'inna maṣīrakum' 'ilā nnāri
And they set up (idols) as equal to Allah, to mislead (men) from the Path! Say: "Enjoy (your brief power)! But verily ye are making straightway for Hell!"

They set up false equals to Allah to lead people from His path, so tell them to enjoy themselves for a short while, for their end is the Fire.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Can anything be equal to Allah?"
Al-Ossi's recitation of ayat 23–31, with English meanings, is on The Verbatim Word of Allah. Listen for the line about false equals to Allah.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did they set up to mislead people?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why is nothing equal to Allah?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ibrahim is surah 14. Find ayah 30. Some people made false gods and leaders equal to Allah and misled others. Their enjoyment in this world is short. The ayah ends with one calm warning. We say 'Allahu ahad': Allah is One.
Fact: Find the surah that says nothing is like Allah (Al-Ikhlas 112:1–4).
Ages 5–8: Only One. Learn Surah Al-Ikhlas with its meaning.
Ages 9–12: Tawhid. Write why nothing in creation can be equal to the Creator.
Finish with: "From Al-Ikhlas 112:1–4 I learned ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will recite Al-Ikhlas with its meaning before sleep."
Action: Recite Al-Ikhlas with its meaning before sleep.
