۞ أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى ٱلَّذِينَ بَدَّلُوا۟ نِعْمَتَ ٱللَّهِ كُفْرًۭا وَأَحَلُّوا۟ قَوْمَهُمْ دَارَ ٱلْبَوَارِ
'alam' tara 'ilā-lladhīna baddalū niʻ'mata -llahi kuf'ran wa'aḥallū qaw'mahum' dāra l-bawāri
Hast thou not turned thy vision to those who have changed the favour of Allah. Into blasphemy and caused their people to descend to the House of Perdition?-

Look at those who traded Allah's blessings for ingratitude and led their people down to a home of ruin.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What would you think of someone who traded a gold coin for a pebble?"
Settle down and play the start of Mishary Alafasy's Ibrahim (Hamdani Hambal).
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did these people swap Allah's blessing for?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can I make sure I never swap a blessing for ingratitude?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ibrahim is surah 14. Find ayah 28. Some leaders were given great blessings but answered with ingratitude, and they dragged their people down with them. A blessing is kept by thanking Allah and using it well.
Fact: Find the story of the people of Saba, who had gardens and turned away (Saba 34:15–17).
Ages 5–8: Blessing hunt. Walk around your home and count ten blessings.
Ages 9–12: Using blessings. Write how to use one blessing (eyes, time, money) in a way that pleases Allah.
Finish with: "I counted ___ blessings in my home."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will use my time well by finishing one good task."
Action: Use your time well by finishing one good task.
