يَمْحُوا۟ ٱللَّهُ مَا يَشَآءُ وَيُثْبِتُ ۖ وَعِندَهُۥٓ أُمُّ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ
Yam'ḥū -llahu mā yashā'u wayuth'bitu . waʻindahu 'ummu l-kitābi
Allah doth blot out or confirm what He pleaseth: with Him is the Mother of the Book.

Allah wipes out what He wills and keeps what He wills, and the Mother of the Book is kept with Him.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Who decides what happens in the end?"
Play the short clip from Rifqan TV of Azhar Fitri reciting ayat 38–43 of Ar-Ra'd.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What is with Allah?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What is the Mother of the Book?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ar-Ra'd is surah 13. Find ayah 39. This ayah speaks about Allah's full control over what happens. He changes or confirms things as He wills, and the original Book with everything is with Him. Scholars explain this ayah in detail, so deeper questions are best taken to an ustaz or ustazah.
Fact: Al-Hadid 57:22 says nothing happens without it being in a Book. Read it with a grown-up.
Ages 5–8: In Allah's hands. Talk about how everything is in Allah's control, so we can trust Him.
Ages 9–12: Trust. Write how knowing Allah controls all things helps when plans change.
Finish with: "Al-Hadid 57:22 says ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will say 'qaddarallah' when a plan changes."
Action: Say 'qaddarallah' when a plan changes.
