لَّهُمْ عَذَابٌۭ فِى ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا ۖ وَلَعَذَابُ ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ أَشَقُّ ۖ وَمَا لَهُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ مِن وَاقٍۢ
Llahum' ʻadhābun fī l-ḥayāti ddun'yā . walaʻadhābu l-'ākhirati 'ashaqqu . wamā lahum mmina -llahi min wāqin
For them is a penalty in the life of this world, but harder, truly, is the penalty of the Hereafter: and defender have they none against Allah.

Those who reject face hardship in this life and a harder punishment in the Hereafter, with no one to protect them from Allah.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Who protects you when you are scared?"
Listen together as Mishary Alafasy recites ayat 34–43 of Ar-Ra'd, a short clip shared by Daily listen Quran.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Can anyone protect the rejecters from Allah?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Who protects us most of all?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ar-Ra'd is surah 13. Find ayah 34. This ayah is a short warning: nobody can protect against Allah's judgment. The good news is that Allah Himself is the Protector of believers. We go to Him for safety.
Fact: Al-Baqarah 2:257 says Allah is the protecting friend of believers. Read it.
Ages 5–8: Safe place. Draw yourself under an umbrella with the words 'Allah protects me'.
Ages 9–12: Al-Wali. Write what it means that Allah is the protecting friend of believers.
Finish with: "Al-Baqarah 2:257 says Allah is ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will say a protection du'a before leaving home."
Action: Say a protection du'a before leaving home.
