ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَتَطْمَئِنُّ قُلُوبُهُم بِذِكْرِ ٱللَّهِ ۗ أَلَا بِذِكْرِ ٱللَّهِ تَطْمَئِنُّ ٱلْقُلُوبُ
Alladhīna 'āmanū wataṭ'ma'innu qulūbuhum bidhik'ri -llahi . 'alā bidhik'ri -llahi taṭ'ma'innu l-qulūbu
"Those who believe, and whose hearts find satisfaction in the remembrance of Allah: for without doubt in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find satisfaction.

Those who believe find calm in their hearts by remembering Allah, for it is in remembering Allah that hearts find rest.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What do you do when you feel worried?"
A short clip on IA Chanel recites ayah 28 of Ar-Ra'd. Play the whole clip.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Where do hearts find rest?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why does remembering Allah calm the heart?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ar-Ra'd is surah 13. Find ayah 28. This is one of the most loved ayat. When we feel worried, sad or scared, remembering Allah brings peace: saying subhanallah, alhamdulillah, Allahu akbar, reading Quran or making du'a.
Fact: Slow breathing helps the body calm down. Try three slow breaths while saying 'Allah' in your heart.
Ages 5–8: Calm corner. Make a cosy spot where you go to say dhikr when upset.
Ages 9–12: My dhikr. Write which words of dhikr calm you most and why.
Finish with: "After three slow breaths with dhikr, I felt ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will say dhikr when I feel worried."
Action: Say dhikr when you feel worried.
