Start with bismillah.

Ask: "What have you been patient about lately?"

Listen together as Yasser Al-Dosari recites ayat 18–30 of Ar-Ra'd, a short clip shared by Al-Muqarrabun.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Why do the angels greet them with peace?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why does patience earn such a welcome?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ar-Ra'd is surah 13. Find ayah 24. Patience is waiting well, keeping going and not complaining. In Paradise, angels will greet the patient with 'salamun 'alaykum'. Every bit of patience now is being saved for that greeting.

Fact: Az-Zumar 39:10 says the patient get their reward without limit. Read it with a grown-up.

Ages 5–8: Patience jar. Add a bead to a jar every time you are patient.

Ages 9–12: Waiting well. Write three ways to be patient when you are waiting.

Finish with: "Az-Zumar 39:10 says the patient ___."

Talk together:

• What will the angels say?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• When is it hardest to be patient?
• How will you be patient this week?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will add a bead to my patience jar each day."
