Ask: "Would you offer to take someone's place to protect them?"

For a few quiet minutes, listen to Idrees Abkar reciting Yusuf, shared by Islam of Mercy.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did the brothers offer?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How had the brothers changed?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Yusuf is surah 12. Find ayah 78. Years ago they threw Yusuf away. Now they offered themselves to save Binyamin and spare their father's sadness. People can change for the better.

Fact: Compare their attitude here with 12:9. How have they changed?

Ages 5–8: Help a sibling. Think of how you can stand up for a brother or sister.

Ages 9–12: People change. Write how the brothers changed.

Finish with: "In 12:9 they wanted ___, but now they ___."

Talk together:

• What did the brothers offer?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• How did they change?
• How can you protect a sibling?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will stand up for a sibling or friend."
