قَالَ ٱجْعَلْنِى عَلَىٰ خَزَآئِنِ ٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ إِنِّى حَفِيظٌ عَلِيمٌۭ
Qāla (i)j'ʻalnī ʻalā khazā'ini l-'ar'ḍi . 'innī ḥafīẓun ʻalīmun
(Joseph) said: "Set me over the store-houses of the land: I will indeed guard them, as one that knows (their importance)."

Yusuf asked to be put in charge of the land's storehouses, saying he was a careful keeper who knew the work.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What job would you be good at?"
For a few quiet minutes, listen to Abdul Basit Abdus-Samad reciting Yusuf, shared by Abdul Basit website.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Which job did Yusuf ask for?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why did Yusuf choose this job?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Yusuf is surah 12. Find ayah 55. Yusuf knew the famine was coming and knew how to manage food. He asked for the job he was skilled at, to help everyone. Using your skills to serve others is a good thing.
Fact: A storehouse keeps food dry and safe. Find out what a silo is used for.
Ages 5–8: My skills. List three things you are good at and how they could help others.
Ages 9–12: Right person, right job. Write why skills and honesty both matter.
Finish with: "A silo is used to ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will use one of my skills to help someone."
Action: Use one of your skills to help someone.
