قَالَ تَزْرَعُونَ سَبْعَ سِنِينَ دَأَبًۭا فَمَا حَصَدتُّمْ فَذَرُوهُ فِى سُنۢبُلِهِۦٓ إِلَّا قَلِيلًۭا مِّمَّا تَأْكُلُونَ
Qāla taz'raʻūna sab'ʻa sinīna da'aban famā ḥaṣadttum' fadharūhu fī sun[m]bulihī 'illā qalīlan mmimmā ta''kulūna
(Joseph) said: "For seven years shall ye diligently sow as is your wont: and the harvests that ye reap, ye shall leave them in the ear,- except a little, of which ye shall eat.

Yusuf said they would farm hard for seven years as usual and should leave most of the harvest stored in its ears, eating only a little.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Why do squirrels store nuts for winter?"
Play the short clip from Muhammed Taha of Maher Al-Muaiqly reciting ayat 43–57 of Yusuf.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Where did Yusuf say to keep the grain?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why keep grain in its ear?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Yusuf is surah 12. Find ayah 47. Yusuf didn't just explain the dream; he gave a plan. Store grain in the ear, its natural husk, and eat only a little. Planning ahead and not wasting are wise habits.
Fact: Grain kept in its husk stays protected from damp and insects much longer. Find out how long wheat can be stored.
Ages 5–8: Save some. Put aside a little of a snack to enjoy later.
Ages 9–12: Plan ahead. Write a plan to save something for the future.
Finish with: "Stored wheat can last about ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will save some of my pocket money."
Action: Save some of your pocket money.
