Put on Raad Al-Kurdi's Yusuf from OneUmmah and follow along for a little while.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What could come suddenly?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can I be ready at any time?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Yusuf is surah 12. Find ayah 107. The Hour will come suddenly. The ayah gives one serious line so we don't feel careless. Being ready means doing good every day, so we never need to be afraid.

Fact: Luqman 31:34 says only Allah knows when the Hour will come. Read it.

Ages 5–8: Ready every day. Make a 'good deeds every day' checklist.

Ages 9–12: Always ready. Write why doing good daily keeps us ready.

Finish with: "Luqman 31:34 says only Allah knows ___."

Talk together:
