وَكَأَيِّن مِّنْ ءَايَةٍۢ فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ يَمُرُّونَ عَلَيْهَا وَهُمْ عَنْهَا مُعْرِضُونَ
Wa ka'ayyin mmin' 'āyatin fī ssamāwāti wal-'ar'ḍi yamurrūna ʻalay'hā wahum' ʻan'hā muʻ'riḍūna
And how many Signs in the heavens and the earth do they pass by? Yet they turn (their faces) away from them!

How many signs in the heavens and on earth do people walk past while turning away from them!
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What amazing thing did you walk past today without noticing?"
Abdul Rahman Al-Ossi recites Yusuf on Quran Majeed. A few minutes is plenty.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Where are the signs?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can I notice more of Allah's signs?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Yusuf is surah 12. Find ayah 105. Signs of Allah are everywhere: sunsets, flowers, stars, rain. Many people walk past without thinking. Slowing down helps us notice and thank Allah.
Fact: There are more trees on Earth than stars in our galaxy, by some estimates. A sign to ponder about creation's richness.
Ages 5–8: Sign walk. Go on a short walk and find five signs of Allah.
Ages 9–12: Noticing. Write five signs you usually walk past.
Finish with: "On my walk I found ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will notice one sign of Allah each day."
Action: Notice one sign of Allah each day.
