4-I guide
Alif Lam Ra: these are the ayat of a Book that makes things clear.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What is your favourite story? Why do you like it?"
Put on a reciter's Yusuf from NgajiBareng04 and follow along for a little while.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What does Allah say this Book does?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What makes the Quran so clear?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Yusuf is surah 12. Find ayah 1. Surah Yusuf is one long, beautiful story told almost all in one surah. It begins with three letters whose full meaning Allah knows, then says this Book makes things clear.
Fact: Surah Yusuf has 111 ayat. Count how many other surahs begin with Alif Lam Ra (look at surahs 10–15).
Ages 5–8: Big story ahead. Look at how many pages Surah Yusuf fills in your mushaf.
Ages 9–12: Story plan. As you study Surah Yusuf, keep a notebook of the main events in order.
Finish with: "Surah Yusuf fills about ___ pages, and Alif Lam Ra also opens surahs ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will start a Yusuf story notebook."
Action: Start a Yusuf story notebook.
