كَأَن لَّمْ يَغْنَوْا۟ فِيهَآ ۗ أَلَا بُعْدًۭا لِّمَدْيَنَ كَمَا بَعِدَتْ ثَمُودُ
Ka'an llam' yagh'naw' fīhā . 'alā buʻ'dan llimad'yana kamā baʻidat' thamūdu
As if they had never dwelt and flourished there! Ah! Behold! How the Madyan were removed (from sight) as were removed the Thamud!

It was as if they had never lived there; Madyan was taken far away, just as Thamud had been.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What happens to people who cheat others?"
Begin Idrees Abkar's Hud on Healing Quran and listen for a few minutes.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Which other people is Madyan compared to?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What lesson does Shu'ayb's story teach?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Hud is surah 11. Find ayah 95. Madyan's busy markets went silent. Their cheating came to an end. The lesson: honesty and fairness matter to Allah.
Fact: Madyan is linked to the north-west of Arabia. Find it on a map.
Ages 5–8: Lesson. Say one lesson from Shu'ayb's story.
Ages 9–12: Shu'ayb's story. Write three lessons from it.
Finish with: "Madyan was near ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will be fair in every game and trade."
Action: Be fair in every game and trade.
