وَٱسْتَغْفِرُوا۟ رَبَّكُمْ ثُمَّ تُوبُوٓا۟ إِلَيْهِ ۚ إِنَّ رَبِّى رَحِيمٌۭ وَدُودٌۭ
Wa -s'tagh'firū rabbakum' thumma tūbū 'ilay'hi . 'inna rabbī raḥīmun wadūdun
"But ask forgiveness of your Lord, and turn unto Him (in repentance): For my Lord is indeed full of mercy and loving-kindness."

Shu'ayb told them to ask their Lord's forgiveness and turn back to Him, for his Lord is Merciful and Loving.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How does it feel to be loved even after you make a mistake?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Which two names of Allah end this ayah?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What does it mean that Allah is Al-Wadud, the Loving?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Hud is surah 11. Find ayah 90. Shu'ayb ended with hope: Allah is Ar-Rahim (Merciful) and Al-Wadud (Loving). He loves those who turn back to Him. The door is always open.
Fact: Al-Wadud appears in only a few places. Find it in Al-Buruj 85:14.
Ages 5–8: Loved by Allah. Make a heart card that says 'Allah is Al-Wadud'.
Ages 9–12: Al-Wadud. Write what it means to you that Allah is Loving.
Finish with: "Al-Buruj 85:14 says Allah is ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will remember Allah is Al-Wadud when I make mistakes."
Action: Remember Allah is Al-Wadud when you make mistakes.
