Start with bismillah.

Ask: "Why would Allah send a prophet from among the people themselves?"

A short clip on Muslim Ummah recites ayah 50 of Hud. Play the whole clip.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What was Hud's message?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why is Hud called their 'brother'?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Hud is surah 11. Find ayah 50. Hud, the prophet this surah is named after, was sent to 'Aad, a strong people. He was one of them, their 'brother'. His message: worship Allah alone.

Fact: Find where 'Aad are described as building tall structures in Ash-Shu'ara 26:128–129.

Ages 5–8: Prophet chart. Add Hud and 'Aad to your chart.

Ages 9–12: Brother. Write why a messenger from among the people is a mercy.

Finish with: "Ash-Shu'ara 26:128 says 'Aad built ___."

Talk together:

• Who was Hud?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• Why call him their brother?
• What was his message?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will add Hud to my prophet chart."

• Worship Allah alone.
• Update your chart.
• Share your writing.
