Juz 12 · Page 227قَالَ يَٰنُوحُ إِنَّهُۥ لَيْسَ مِنْ أَهْلِكَ ۖ إِنَّهُۥ عَمَلٌ غَيْرُ صَٰلِحٍۢ ۖ فَلَا تَسْـَٔلْنِ مَا لَيْسَ لَكَ بِهِۦ عِلْمٌ ۖ إِنِّىٓ أَعِظُكَ أَن تَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلْجَٰهِلِينَ
How to read it
Qāla yānūḥu 'innahu lay'sa min' 'ah'lika . 'innahu ʻamalun ghay'ru ṣāliḥin . falā tas''alni mā lay'sa laka bihī ʻil'mun . 'innī 'aʻiẓuka 'an takūna mina l-jāhilīna
He said: "O Noah! He is not of thy family: For his conduct is unrighteous. So ask not of Me that of which thou hast no knowledge! I give thee counsel, lest thou act like the ignorant!"
