وَقِيلَ يَٰٓأَرْضُ ٱبْلَعِى مَآءَكِ وَيَٰسَمَآءُ أَقْلِعِى وَغِيضَ ٱلْمَآءُ وَقُضِىَ ٱلْأَمْرُ وَٱسْتَوَتْ عَلَى ٱلْجُودِىِّ ۖ وَقِيلَ بُعْدًۭا لِّلْقَوْمِ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
How to read it
Wa qīla yā'ar'ḍu (i)b'laʻī mā'aki wayāssamā'u 'aq'liʻī waghīḍa l-mā'u waquḍiya l-'am'ru wa-s'tawat' ʻalāl-jūdiyyi . waqīla buʻ'dan llil'qaw'mi ẓẓālimīna
Then the word went forth: "O earth! swallow up thy water, and O sky! Withhold (thy rain)!" and the water abated, and the matter was ended. The Ark rested on Mount Judi, and the word went forth: "Away with those who do wrong!"
