أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَيْسَ لَهُمْ فِى ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ إِلَّا ٱلنَّارُ ۖ وَحَبِطَ مَا صَنَعُوا۟ فِيهَا وَبَٰطِلٌۭ مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ
'Ūlā'ika -lladhīna lay'sa lahum' fī l-'ākhirati 'illā nnāru . waḥabiṭa mā ṣanaʻū fīhā wabāṭilun mmā kānū yaʻ'malūna
They are those for whom there is nothing in the Hereafter but the Fire: vain are the designs they frame therein, and of no effect and the deeds that they do!

For such people there is only the Fire in the Hereafter, and what they made in this world comes to nothing.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What happens to a sandcastle when the tide comes in?"
Hear the opening minutes of Hud in Mishary Alafasy's voice, from Taimur Islam Khan.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What happens to their deeds?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can I make sure my deeds last?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Hud is surah 11. Find ayah 16. Deeds done only for this world are like sandcastles: the tide washes them away. The ayah gives one serious line about the Hereafter. Deeds done for Allah are kept safe.
Fact: Al-Kahf 18:46 says lasting good deeds are better. Read it.
Ages 5–8: Sandcastle lesson. Build a sand or play-dough castle, then flatten it, and talk about what lasts.
Ages 9–12: Lasting deeds. List deeds that last forever, like helping and praying.
Finish with: "Al-Kahf 18:46 says ___ are better."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will do one deed only for Allah."
Action: Do one deed only for Allah.
