وَلَوْ شَآءَ رَبُّكَ لَجَعَلَ ٱلنَّاسَ أُمَّةًۭ وَٰحِدَةًۭ ۖ وَلَا يَزَالُونَ مُخْتَلِفِينَ
Wa law' shā'a rabbuka lajaʻala nnāssa 'ummatan wāḥidatan . walā yazālūna mukh'talifīna
If thy Lord had so willed, He could have made mankind one people: but they will not cease to dispute.

If your Lord had willed, He could have made all people one single nation, but they continue to differ.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Why are people so different from each other?"
Listen together as Mishary Alafasy recites ayat 118–123 of Hud, a short clip shared by Daily listen Quran.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What could Allah have done if He willed?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why did Allah let people be different and choose?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Hud is surah 11. Find ayah 118. Allah could have made everyone the same. Instead He gave people choice, and so they differ. This is part of His wisdom. Deeper questions go to an ustaz or ustazah.
Fact: Ar-Rum 30:22 says different languages and colours are signs. Read it.
Ages 5–8: Different flowers. Look at different flowers and talk about why variety is beautiful.
Ages 9–12: Choice. Write why having choice is part of Allah's test.
Finish with: "Ar-Rum 30:22 says ___ are signs."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will be kind to someone different from me."
Action: Be kind to someone different from you.
