إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ صَبَرُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ لَهُم مَّغْفِرَةٌۭ وَأَجْرٌۭ كَبِيرٌۭ
'Illā -lladhīna ṣabarū waʻamilū ṣṣāliḥāti 'ūlā'ika lahum mmagh'firatun wa'aj'run kabīrun
Not so do those who show patience and constancy, and work righteousness; for them is forgiveness (of sins) and a great reward.

But those who are patient and do good deeds are different; they will have forgiveness and a great reward.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What helps you stay steady in both good times and bad?"
Listen together as Mishary Alafasy recites ayat 1–12 of Hud, a short clip shared by Daily listen Quran.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What two things do these people do?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can I stay patient and keep doing good?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Hud is surah 11. Find ayah 11. Unlike those who despair in hard times or boast in good times, believers stay patient and keep doing good. Allah promises them forgiveness and a great reward.
Fact: Al-'Asr 103:3 also joins patience and good deeds. Read it.
Ages 5–8: Steady tree. Stand like a tree while someone gently pushes; stay steady!
Ages 9–12: Steady in both. Write how patience helps in bad times and humility in good.
Finish with: "Al-'Asr 103:3 says the successful are those who ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will stay calm and keep doing good on a hard day."
Action: Stay calm and keep doing good on a hard day.
