4-I guide
This ayah repeats the warning of the ayah before it, so that the message is clear and certain.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "When does your mum or dad say something twice? Is it for small things or important things?"
Watch the first few minutes of the video about Old Faithful, a geyser that erupts again and again, so regularly that people can predict it.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Have you heard these words before?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why does Allah repeat some warnings?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah At-Takathur is surah 102. Compare ayah 4 with ayah 3. Which word is added at the start of ayah 4 in the translation?
Fact: How do scientists predict when Old Faithful will erupt next?
Ages 5–8: Repeat test. Drop a ball from the same height three times and count how many bounces each time. Is it the same every time?
Ages 9–12: Time a dripping tap (or a fizzy tablet in water) several times. Can you predict the next result? What makes a prediction trustworthy?
Finish with: "I found that the result was the same ___ times out of ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will remind myself every day at ___ that ___."
Action: Do your plan daily, and notice how it feels.
