4-I guide
They prayed that Allah would save them by His mercy from the people who rejected Him.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What do you call out when you need rescuing?"
Maher Al-Muaiqly recites Yunus on Maher Al-Muaiqly's official channel. A few minutes is plenty.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "By what do they ask to be saved?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why ask to be saved by Allah's mercy, not by our own strength?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Yunus is surah 10. Find ayah 86. The believers asked to be saved, not because of their own goodness, but by Allah's mercy. Everything good we receive comes from His mercy.
Fact: Find Al-A'raf 7:156: Allah's mercy embraces all things.
Ages 5–8: Mercy rescue. Talk about times Allah's mercy saved you.
Ages 9–12: Mercy, not merit. Write why we always rely on Allah's mercy.
Finish with: "Allah's ___ embraces all things."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will ask Allah for His mercy in every dua."
Action: Ask Allah for His mercy in every dua.
