فَلَمَّا جَآءَهُمُ ٱلْحَقُّ مِنْ عِندِنَا قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَسِحْرٌۭ مُّبِينٌۭ
Falammā jā'ahumu l-ḥaqqu min' ʻindinā qālū 'inna hādhā lassiḥ'run mmubīnun
When the Truth did come to them from Us, they said: "This is indeed evident sorcery!"

When the truth came to them from Allah, Pharaoh's people said it was obviously magic.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Why do people sometimes call something fake when it is real?"
HUBBU MADEENA posted a short recitation of ayat 71–82 of Yunus. Listen to all of it together.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did they call the truth?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why would people call a miracle 'magic'?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Yunus is surah 10. Find ayah 76. Musa showed Allah's miracles, like his staff and his shining hand. Instead of believing, Pharaoh's people called it magic to avoid accepting the truth. A miracle is from Allah; magic is trickery, and Muslims stay away from it.
Fact: The two miracles Musa showed Pharaoh at first. Find Al-A'raf 7:107–108.
Ages 5–8: Real or pretend. Sort pictures into real things and pretend things.
Ages 9–12: Miracle or trick. Write the difference between a miracle and a trick.
Finish with: "Musa's staff became a ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will say alhamdulillah for the truth of Islam."
Action: Say alhamdulillah for the truth of Islam.
