إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَرْجُونَ لِقَآءَنَا وَرَضُوا۟ بِٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَٱطْمَأَنُّوا۟ بِهَا وَٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ عَنْ ءَايَٰتِنَا غَٰفِلُونَ
'Inna -lladhīna lā yar'jūna liqā'anā waraḍū bil-ḥayāti ddun'yā wa-ṭ'ma'annū bihā wa-lladhīna hum' ʻan' 'āyātinā ghāfilūna
Those who rest not their hope on their meeting with Us, but are pleased and satisfied with the life of the present, and those who heed not Our Signs,-

4-I guide
Some people do not look forward to meeting Allah, feel settled with this worldly life alone and do not pay attention to His signs.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Would you spend all your time building a sandcastle if you knew the tide was coming?"
Play the short Yunus clip of ayat 1–10 from Quran Ruku.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What are these people pleased with?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why do people forget there is more after this life?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Yunus is surah 10. Find ayah 7. This ayah and the next describe people who never hope to meet Allah. They feel comfortable with this life only and ignore His signs. The next ayah gives their sad end in one line.
Fact: How quickly the tide can wash away a sandcastle. A sign to ponder about how this life passes.
Ages 5–8: Sandcastle or treasure. Talk about things that last and things that wash away.
Ages 9–12: Two lists. Write things that are only for this world and things that help in the Hereafter too.
Finish with: "This life passes like a ___ by the sea."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will turn one daily thing into a good deed with a good intention."
Action: Turn one daily thing into a good deed with a good intention.
