Start with bismillah.

Ask: "Why do we feel sleepy when it gets dark?"

Play the short clip from MZG of Mishary Alafasy reciting ayat 62–70 of Yunus.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What is the night for?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How does our body know when it is night?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Yunus is surah 10. Find ayah 67. Allah made night calm and dark so we can rest, and day bright so we can work and play. Our bodies have an inner clock that follows this.

Fact: What the body clock, or circadian rhythm, is. A sign to ponder.

Ages 5–8: Night and day. Make a picture with night on one half and day on the other.

Ages 9–12: Sleep sunnah. Write some sunnahs of sleeping.

Finish with: "Our body clock is called the ___ rhythm."

Talk together:

• What is the night for?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• What is the day for?
• Which sleep sunnah will you follow?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will say the dua before sleeping."

• Night for rest, day for seeing.
• Draw night and day.
• Say the sleep dua.
• Next time: the next ayah (10:68) answers the claim that Allah has a son. Explore it together!
