وَلَا يَحْزُنكَ قَوْلُهُمْ ۘ إِنَّ ٱلْعِزَّةَ لِلَّهِ جَمِيعًا ۚ هُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ
Wa lā yaḥ'zunka qaw'luhum' 'inna l-ʻizzata lillahi jamīʻan . huwa ssamīʻu l-ʻalīmu
Let not their speech grieve thee: for all power and honour belong to Allah: It is He Who heareth and knoweth (all things).

Do not let their words make you sad, because all honour and power belong to Allah, the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What do you do when someone says something unkind?"
Learn Quran at Home posted a short recitation of ayat 62–65 of Yunus. Listen to all of it together.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who does all honour belong to?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why can unkind words not truly hurt us?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Yunus is surah 10. Find ayah 65. People said hurtful things to the Prophet. Allah comforted him: real honour belongs to Allah, and He hears everything. We do not need others' approval when we are doing right.
Fact: The Names as-Sami' and al-'Alim. What do they mean?
Ages 5–8: Rock in the sea. Pretend to be a rock while waves (pillows) splash; stay strong.
Ages 9–12: Comfort words. Write what you can say to yourself when someone is unkind.
Finish with: "As-Sami' means the All-___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will stay calm and kind when someone is unkind."
Action: Stay calm and kind when someone is unkind.
